"Abductees" is a term used to describe individuals who have been forcefully taken or kidnapped by another group or individual. However, there are several synonyms that can be used to describe such individuals. These include captive, hostage, prisoner, victim, detainee, and kidnap victim. Each of these words conveys a sense of being held against one's will, either physically or emotionally. While the word "abductee" is commonly used in the context of alien abductions, these synonyms can be applied to any situation in which a person is taken against their will and kept from their loved ones and freedom.
